Gnome – Public Art 2000
Placed at the entrance to Covent Garden Piazza during the Covent Garden Flower Festival 2000, Gnome was a 4 meter high grass covered living statue, commissioned by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority to draw attention to the regeneration of Gunpowder Park. It was created in collaboration with his daughter Andrea Carr.

Gnome, as a guardian of nature stood as a reminder of our joint stewardship and responsibility for the Earth. It proved to be e popular tourist attraction, Gnome was later retired to a children’s farm.
